Hwarang - The Poet Warrior Youth

I just finished watching the series and I have some points that I have been taking notes of while watching each episode.

* It's my first time to watch a series that I have to skip parts of the leading lady, her acting annoyed the hell out of me, I ma not sure how big Go A-ra is in Korea as an actress but she didn't give justice to her character, or maybe I just didn't like her at all. Her acting was a mediocre even when she delivers her lines.

* The male leads are all handsome and justice was given to each characters that they are portraying, no doubt about Park Seo-joon and Park Hyung-sik. The guys looked elite and well deserved for each of their roles I should say. Luckily they were able to pull out the strings considering that their lead actress is failing in every aspects of character delivery.

* Background music is a mess, it's as if during the editing they just put background music on each scene just because. It is sometimes annoying that there is a background music where it is not necessary.

* Story plot, I'll say 75% rate, there are scenes unnecessary, scenes that are not deep enough to be understood why it was there and why it has to happen. I understand that in every man's success there is a woman behind however, it is not always necessary specially the female protagonists role doesn't look necessary at all. It could have been better if they made a different attack with the female protagonist and not look like a damsel in distress who became the reason why one man wants to become a king and the other one wants to live. I have nothing against it, it's just that the story line was not well thought of. I acknowledge the fact when Ji Dwi look unto her because it's the first time that he had someone who can see him as the King and be himself no matter what, his situation is unbearable. Same with Sun woo, she is part of the reason why he tried to live again and fight his way to justify the death of his friend. Since the story line was about the Hwarang's, my take was to focused more about them, they should've shown more of them and how they grown up as a person. I don't really know about the female lead part being part of the story when it doesn't look appeasing and necessary to be part of the story. (This is all my take personally though)

** The death of Han-seung (Kim Tae-hyung) for me is unnecessary though it made and impact and made his brother and grandfather to realize how they should've understood him and just let him live the life that he wants to live. Someone as gentle and caring as him made me cry when he died specially that he is just starting to have bonding with Sun woo looking up to him as an elder brother. It was such a short time for the both of them.

So, over all it's not that bad. Not much of what I expected though coz I am actually expecting too much if I am gonna base it with the reviews given in Viki site. 9.6 rating is high and it will make you expect a good run specially of you are more into story plot of series and good looking actors are added value. Well, everything written here is based on my own verdict, we have different opinions, what is yours?

Romance is a Bonus Book

I just finished watching another K Drama via Netflix and I would say I got hooked. I didn't know that it has a very good story plot and it mirrors the real life struggles, from personal to professional life. The story plot will show you how change is inevitable in this world. That even though your worked hard, sucked your pride up and bow your head down, it's still not enough. How cruel some people are not even remembering that they were once at the bottom and struggled their way up to climb the ladder. It's a reflection how we must live in this world, no matter how hard it is, we just need to keep on fighting and believing that we will achieve our goals how simple it may be.

The characters in the series tackled different life stories that everyone can relate to, you can see part of your life in the characters portrayed. It will make you realized that certain sacrifices are being made to live fully, no matter how hard it is, there will always be someone out there who will believe in you. Just like what Eun Ho, no matter how negative people will see him and say negative things about him having one person believe in him and tell him that he did the right thing is more than enough. Just like in the real world, we don't need hundreds of people believing in us, having one who will push you to your limit and won't leave your side no matter what is more that enough.

We will always have friends whom we love being with, chilling out, partying and bonding. We also those whom we hang out with because we find ourselves growing with them and continuously learning from them. And there's just one, one that no matter what happens, even if you don't say a word he understands how you feel and will be there for you to cheer you up when you are feeling down.

"Because of you, I do not sway until the very end regardless of how windy it gets.
Although this world is full of frowns and grimaces, because of you, I've become someone who can smile even when I'm on my own. Thank you, I am happy for I could stay strong even during the most difficult days" -  Part of the Poem that was memorized by Dan I and Eun Ho

The ending part of the series made me want to watch it all over again. It made me want to read books again and find inspiration. It made me want to stay in the book stores and coffee shops while reading books, turning it's page one by one. In this modern day where ebooks are already available and you can read everything via tab, laptops and cellphones, it made me want to go back reading my old novel collections where I flip its pages and use my imagination while reading each and every chapter.

Just as the ending parts have noted;

We are like books, we wait for someone to find us and open us to see what's inside. We learn about people and in the end, no one can live without them.

When the world changes drastically, people's diligence keeps it up.

We are trees that branch out in solitude and bears fruit. We are beautiful trees with growth rings of our lives.

Pride in creating, trust, and happiness -  those are what it means to make a book. Only after finishing the book I can see what I missed and life goes the same.

Everyone has their own tunnel to pass, a hand from others help us forget our fears.

A book that inspires others may not always inspire you, so find a book that does. When we exchange lines from our heart, we cry, smile and learn to love others. In life we face many hurdles, we use each others love to jump over them.

Loving someone is strange and amazing at the same time.

I am looking forward to watching more series like this. This is part of the reason why I can't get over K Dramas, there are times that I am not just hooked because of the leading men. (Who can't get hooked with Lee Jong Suk, Lee Min Ho, Gong Yoo, Nam Joo Hyuk, Yeu Seung Ho, Park Seo Joon, Kim Soo Hyun, Ok Teacyeon, Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Ji Soo and Park Hyung Sik to name a few). I am hooked with the story and it makes me laugh, smile, cry and most of the time feel butterflies like I am always falling in love over and over again.

A piece of advise...

Even if they thought you were temporary. You know deep in your heart that you’re not. You were honest. You showed them your vulnerability, your feelings and what they meant to you. You showed them that they mattered. You showed them your scars without trying to conceal them. You were an entire galaxy for someone who couldn’t even see the stars.

Even if they made you feel like you weren’t good enough. You gave your all. You did your best. You did everything you could, and if that’s not enough for someone, it’s not your job to change them. Maybe you were too strong for the weak ones or too deep for the shallow ones or maybe you were a home when they were looking for a vacation.

That said, spend all your energy to those who still need or want you in their lives. People come and go. Cherish those who stay.

3 Reasons It’s Never Too Late to Go After Your Dreams

1.Success has no age limit: There is no cap on how young or old you have to be to reach success. Some careers take longer than others to advance, which means you may not be 30 and see the height of your career. And there’s nothing wrong with that.

2. A career switch can upgrade your happiness factor: Our careers have a lot to do with our happiness in other areas of our life. If we don’t like the job that we go to everyday, a lot of the stress and frustration can easily spill over into our home and social lives. Having a job you hate or are bored with can bring you that much closer to recognizing what your true dream is and can give you the push you need to go for that dream. Switching to pursue your dream career can bring just the right amount of happiness you need. Remember it’s always easier to be successful at something you are passionate about rather than something you have no interest in at all.

3. You don’t want to have career regrets: Holding on to a career that no longer interests you can be draining. The more you push off going after your professional dreams and goals the more you will look up and say “I should’ve… would’ve… could’ve.” Having regrets about opportunities you should have taken advantage of is never a good feeling.

Reflections

I am observant and everyone close to me would know.

People will show that they like you but behind your back they talk differently. I myself is guilty of being that way, I talk behind peoples back too, it's an honest confession. I talk about their negative traits that I hated, the stupid things that they do, the attitudes that I can't stand to tolerate. I guess that is how we all are, we find ways to channel negativities we see and we experience from different people by bursting out the bad things about them. You see, for me doing so will help you find a way to see the goodness in them, their positive traits. I am not destroying them, but by doing so, I get to know them more and I find the best way to deal with them. I find balance in everything, in life, in challenges, in experiences. We all make mistakes, we are not perfect, but we can live with love instead of hatred, of peace instead of chaos, of acceptance instead of discrimination, and freedom to be taken lightly and with rules to still be followed.

There are some things in this world that we cannot break even if we want to, and that is the law of nature, you can be whoever you wanted to be, but you still need to respect what was originally created. We are created equally and gifted differently, so we must find respect in everything that we see and what we believe. Not because you changed yourself into who someone whom you believe you are, you already have the freedom to make everyone believe that you are. There are always boundaries and limitations, it is not hypocrisy nor discrimination, it's mutual respect and acceptance. Just because you are given freedom you will go beyond limitation. That's not how it work.

At the end of the day, you have to respect yourself first before everyone will respect you. 2018 for me is a balance year. I had my ups and downs, some abrupt decisions made, challenges and realizations. Been to places and met different people. Became more close to people who are close to my heart. Had days of depression but was able to break free and become more focused on the reasons why I decided to take chances in a faraway place, far from family and close friends. And, ended up living with the family who cultivated me to become who I am today.

My life is still full of challenges and I just face them day by day. I know what I am capable of, what my skills and talents are, my strength and weaknesses, and in time, with a leap of faith, I will be blessed with what my heart desires. Lord Jesus and heavenly Father will always be there as my guide along with everyone who cares and love me no matter what.

Thanks 2018 for all the adventures, to all the places that you let me see. It has been a great and wonderful year, specially that I have ended it being with my family who accepted and believes in me and what I am capable of doing.

One Year and Six Months

Hello Jobry!

How have you been? reflecting your life here in California since you arrived last June 12, 2017, can you say that your life has been great? Dreams coming true? Few bumps and struggles along the way?

Well, life for me has never been easy, I am just good in adapting. I change the way my environment change but never forgetting who I am and where I came from. I have a people to thank as well for without them, I wouldn't be able to come here, work and travel at the same time. I was able to help my family and friends as well, meet new people and learn from them. I could say that my one year and six months stay here in California, I have appreciated everything, places that was only in my dreams, I was able to go to.

My faith became stronger and I believed that God is always there with us no matter what. Ask away and He will answer, He will provide and will grace you with whatever your heart's desire.

I will be missing California, the places that I always go to, the lovely weather, the sunny beach during summer, the Downtown, Ventura where I love to shop because of its thrift stores where you can find rare fashion items that are even signature ones. Universal Studios and Disneyland where I have jump for Joy and went back to being a kid. I never thought that I will be able to experience all of these. I know I can always go back anytime when I want to, I already have friends whom I can call, a place where I can stay, during travel times.

Thank you Ventura, CA for giving me a home away from home. You let me experience things that never in my life I imagined I would experience. You made me value life over matters, gave me and eye opener to learn that even though money isn't the most important thing in the world, still, you need to save as you will need it for the future. I will see you again, that is for sure. I'm going to start travelling soon, maybe, on my own or maybe I will have someone special with me, whatever God's plan is for me, I have faith in Him.

One Year and Six Month it'll always be kept in my heart...

Just for today....

It's been awhile, even though I don't write much here on my blog and I doesn't even have a lot of readers, it doesn't matter. This is actually my personal haven. A place where I can write what's in my mind. It's mostly free writing, nothing serious.

It's December 11, 2018, today is my second driving lesson. I never had experience driving a car so I am totally nervous, there's a lot of things running in my mind. My driving instructor is scary straight to the point, he'll tell you what you need to work on straight to the point and to be honest, I am rattled and nervous. I just hope that I can have everything cleared and I will pass my behind the wheels even if it's just a short period of time learning. I could say when I drive around, it makes me feel so relaxed and I kinda loving it, giving time practicing on my own, I got a feeling that I will get the chance to travel around US soon. It's one of the plans that I have been trying complete before I go back to the Philippines and start doing what I love to do, having that said, when I arrive to Illinois and live with my family again, I will start doing what I am passionate about which is creating clothes not just for myself but for everyone else who will love my fashion.

I have been here in the US for more than a year now and I could say that I am still looking for myself and what I want to do. I love being a caregiver staying with old people and chatting with them, knowing their history and what they did in their younger years. I got the chance to work in a restaurant and I love it as well, customer service all the way. I feel sad leaving but I want a new start, the family I am going to has been my family for 11 years, they want me to be with them since I came here, I just want to give them a chance. Maybe, just maybe, I will be able to find what is meant to be for me.

What do I need to do next, I don't know, what will I be able to prove, I don't know as well. But in God's perfect timing, I will be great, I know it. So, I am claiming that 2019 and years onward will be good and blessed.

First Love

Love Happens in the Nick of time...
The hearts gets what it wants, walang makakapigil nito...
She save a life, she needs a heart, but her heart is too pure for me...

I will never know unless I try.. "hope to live"
At least if I die, I died because I live...
Carpe Diem - Seize the day
Now . Live in the moment . Today

The movie gives out a lot of life lessons that you never expect. It's not just a regular movie where you'll know what to expect, the drama, the kilig, the ending... You are part of the movie, you are one with the characters, you'll feel na parang andun ka rin, nararamdaman mo kung ano ang nararamdaman nila. Direk Paul Soriano's attack is so surreal that you are also hurting for them but still want to be there, hold their hands, hug them and tell them to keep on going . There's a balance in every character shown in the movie, it's a small cast but it completes the story. One who happens to be Nick's part of the past and constant reminder of what he did and tries to correct. One that makes Ali happy and think positively. The locations was showcased perfectly, it wants you to go there and see its beauty. And the song, the song! OMG! I so love that part in the bookstore! Just perfect! "Ikaw ang aking mahal"...

Two people with different diseases, one is fighting to live, living life as if it's her last and One who already gave up life and just waiting for the end... I love this part - "Pinapaalala niya sa akin araw araw na malapit na akong mamatay, na pweding ngayong araw na ito eh mamamatay na ako"...

Aga Mulach never fails to amaze me, he will always be the best leading man in every love story that is created.

Bea Alonzo did not just perfected her role as Ali but as she said she became her character, you'll believe here. How she feels and what she really wants to do in life.

Edward Barber doesn't look that it's his first time in a serious role, you'll see that he embraces his character as well, there are some awkward moments yes, but you'll not notice it unless you really are watching his acting closely and if you are in sync with the story.

Albie Casino love love how he portrayed his role, perfect balance, just shown different sides of the LGBTQ.

If you still haven't watch the movie, I'll ask you to watch it, not because I am a huge fan of the actors cast in the film but because it is worth it.

"You can never undo your past, but you can correct what you did wrong, live in the present and look forward to the future"...

The How's Us...

Watching the film made a lot of impact to myself. A lot of what if's in every relationship. A lot of questions being asked as to why we got tired and fell out of love.

What if George read the letter during the night that she asked Primo to leave the house, would the ending be different?

What if Primo has opened himself to George? if he just told her how he is really feeling and will that change the plot of their love story?

If it hasn't been for Primo choosing his passion above all else and became open to other opportunities, will his career have changed?

The movie is twisted into a story that will make you realize how the real world really works. The twist at the ending is just right that will make everyone realized that if they didn't part ways they could've not grown to what they are when they have met each other again. Having said that, I still believe that if they have communicated and been open to each other, they won't need to part ways. To have a successful and long term relationship open communication is always the key, that no matter how difficult the challenges are it can be resolve by talking it out with each other.

This is another movie that proved Kathniels prowess as actors, the way lines are delivered they will make you feel that you are part of what they are feeling. Direk Cathy Garcia - Molina has done something extra ordinary again. I am not a Kathniel Fan to be honest, but I was urged to watch the movie when it was shown here in the US. A well deserve kudos to all the cast and who worked on the film.

Vintage Style #fashion #stylistelife

Living with elderly people has it's perks, specially for someone who is into fashion like myself. You know why?

Coz they are watching old movies from 1920's to 1940's. If you want to know how fashion and style evolved, then it's good to watch this films, you will find how simple silhouettes are before and still looks perfectly polished and elegant. Long Gowns are more simpler depending on the occasion that a person is attending. You will also notice that in a formal social gathering people would dress elegantly and follows the dress code.

When I watch this films and compare it with today's fashion, I can still see the old silhouettes, it's just that, it became more and more extravagant. If I am to be asked, I would gladly bring back the old style from the 1920's up to 1940's. I love their since of style during that time. If not because of the climate change, I would also want to bring back the old Victorian style of the 1400's to 1800's. Those corseted gowns and tuxedos, they are just perfect for my eyes.

I recommend watching this films and fall in love with the fashion and styles; The Clock (1945), Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938) and The Good Old Summertime (1949) these are just some of the films that I love watching in TCM.

So fashion lovers out there. Try and watch this films and be inspired!

Sad things...

I am not the type of person who always say what's in my head. I rather talk to myself when I am alone expressing what I truly feel about anything, or better yet, I write here in my blog what I feel. So here we go;

The reason why I hate watching news when I was in the Philippines is not because I don't like to update myself on what is happening around my country, it is because of the bias way news are being shared to the society. It's because I can see how my country men are, it's because it shows the true problem in the community that is already being shown and yet nobody cares and still throws the blame to another person.

So there, I was checking on my twitter and saw tweets regarding the current situation of my country. It is under a strong typhoon once again and a lot of my country men are suffering. I believe that we filipinos are being looked up to by other people because we are resilient. We fall and then we find ways to rise up again, we can always recover quickly even though we were hit hard. We smile even though we are already tired and having a hard time. We are like chameleons that can easily adapt to changes.

Sad thing is, we lack discipline, we lack responsibility, what we do best is put the blame to other people even though the problem started on our end. How can I say all these? It's because I grew up with it. Filipinos are never disciplined enough to follow rules and regulations, a simple way of disposing of garbage is not being followed. Candy wrappers being thrown out on the streets, along with plastic bottles, cups and bags. We are being taught on how to recycle and yet we are having a hard time doing it. Small things that if we have started to be responsible enough then there shouldn't be any floods, clogged drainage system, less problems.

We lacked responsibilities, we are responsible for the garbage, if we have been doing what is right, not disposing garbage anywhere, all of this problems should've not occurred. But of course, we are not certified filipinos if we are not to blame our government, our leaders. We always feel that all the problems of the Philippines is because our leaders lacked. That the leaders are the ones to be blamed because they are not doing anything to mitigate the issue. Partly true because we can't deny that corruption is one of the pivotal reasons why projects are not being budgeted properly. Still, why can't we ask ourselves? What have we done to help the community? Am I one of the people who doesn't care and just throw the garbage anywhere? Have I make anything that can contribute for a positive change? Go ask yourselves and if you are confident about your answer then start serving the community. Help our government, help our leaders. By this way I believe, our country, the Philippines will be a better place to live in.

It's been awhile

So, it's been awhile since I last wrote something here. Not that I have a lot of people reading my blog, still, I miss writing things that comes up in my mind; what I experience; what I want to express; a piece of something that will let me breathe once in awhile.

I can't believe that I have been in the US for more than a year now. A lot has happened and I learned a lot. I wasn't able to meet new people much as I don't even go out partying much. I go out just to appreciate the views, roam around Downtown, walk by the beach, look around the local thrift stores and bookstores, watch movies and take photos of places and things that I am seeing around.

After the fire that burned the place where I used to work and live at the same time, lost all of my personal stuff; I have to adjust with my working environment big time. I have to handle different people and also work with different people. It was difficult because up until now, I am still adjusting and just trying to appreciate what I do everyday. As what I have read before, love your job and it'll love you back. So here I am trying to love what I am doing focusing on what I want to achieve and what my real goal in life is. The reason why instead of pushing through with what I love to do in life, here I am doing things differently.

They say, you are the one who makes your destiny. You are the one who makes who you are, you choose to be someone depending on your liking. I guess that it's true, if you believe that you can do things then it will happen. Staying positive is always the best answer to every problem, smile that's when people see who you truly are as a person.

turning point in life

Last night I was asked by one of my close friends about my turning point in life. I had to think, I am unsure when, and if what comes to my mind is considered my turning point in life. And then this morning it hit me;

- I became part of a local theater group when I was 17 years old, it's my turning point of living my dream of becoming an actor. I was able to get big roles that I never expect I would get, I became a backstage person which made me fell in love with the costumes and make up artistry.
- At the age of 18, I became part of a family that is not even blood related to mine and yet they considered me as part of them, loved me and cared for me as if I was one of their own. Another turning point in my life where I realized that I was given gifts by God that is more that what I deserved in life.
- I became part of an event team, became a handler, choreographer and even back stage director. These are the turning point in my life that I never realized I am already taking part of the industry that I have been dreaming to be part of a long long time ago.
- then there's PEM, I gained new people who believed in what I can do and what my capabilities are. It made me closer to the community, have advocacy to help other people, to give back after receiving. To have another family and friends to enjoy and have fun.
- I then became part of JCI, a group of diverse individuals who made me realized what a country and a community should be. Culiat JCI is my ideals of a great community and probably country, where status quo is not an issue, it focuses more on what the group wants to achieve as one. It's another turning point in my life that honed me to be exceptional, that no matter what happens there will always be people to support you no matter what you want to achieve in life and even though you did wrong, they won't let you down, instead, they will pull you up and stand back on your feet.

But you know what my biggest turning point in life is? It is when the place I called home when I started living in this foreign land called land of dreamers got burned down to ashes. Where I got nothing left but myself and few personal stuff. December 5, 2017 made me realized that material things can be taken from you easily, that even though you tell yourself that seeing this things make you feel good because it's what you earned for working hard. This was the moment that I looked back and realized that I have been working hard and yet I don't have any savings, that I keep on buying things that I don't even need, things that I only wear once and that's it. And because of that, I started to think several times before I buy something, I will think 100 times where and when to use it. I still have some flaws, but due to this unforgettable experience, I started to think about my future, what is the reason why I came here in the first place. God has always been with me in all this challenges, I would say that I am not a church person, I never attended mass because I only sleep when I attend one hence I rather visit the church, light a candle and offer a prayer. I always believed that God is everywhere, he's living inside our hearts. Our faith is not measured how many times you go to church, if you have memorized the bible, it's on how you believe in Him.

What If's...

A lot of what if's... plans running my mind whenever I thought about the recent fire that happened to the place where I work and live that burned everything that I have established from the time that I arrived here in California and some important things that I have brought with me.

What If -

I had my mind focused and just go with my work mates when they went to the place to check what is already happening, wouldn't I be able to save a lot of my things and was able to think what should be brought while saving the lives of the old people that we are taking good care of.

I was able to bring my hard drive with me where I save all of my precious moments taken via camera that was compiled since I started my social life and been surrounded by good people. Wouldn't I will be happy and will forget that all of my things have been eaten by the fire?

I did not transfer all my things at the place where I am working and still kept some at the other place where I use to stay during my off days, won't I be able to save more of my stuff?

the fire just didn't happen? wouldn't the holiday be more merry and brighter? I would still be with the people I care for and stays with them.

I can turn back time? maybe I will be more prepared and would know what to do.

How can you move forward when you can't even leave things behind. I believe that things happens for a reason and God has a perfect plan why this has happened. Maybe, just maybe, I will become more of a strong person and would be bale to leave everything behind.

Time will only will tell what will happen...

I just want to write what I have been feeling and hoping that by doing so, I will be able to let go.

Looking forward for a brighter 2018 in the land that promises great opportunity to those who seeks for it.

Unforgettable

December 4 & 5 will be instill in my memory both good and bad, I lost everything, yes, but I am happy that I am alive and was able to save lives of the old people that I am taking care of. 896 Via Ondulando also known as Ocean View Cottage has been my home for the past 6 months that I have been here in California. Never did I imagine that I will be experiencing such disaster that took everything that I have established. This is the experience that made me realize how unpredictable life can be.
A few weeks before christmas and not just I who will celebrate with nothing but a lot of family as well. I just pray to God that everything will turn out fine for everyone.

A Caregiver's Life

If people think that it's an easy job, then they have to think twice. It is not a glamorous job indeed, however, if you put your heart in it, your hard work is going to be paid off. Being a caregiver has never been part of my option as I know what I can do, what my capacity and skills are and what I truly want in life.

Let's get back, so here I am working as a caregiver, taking care of 6 old people not related to me which I never have done to any of my family member as I have been independent to myself and loved being alone. Every day you have to wake up early in the morning to get ready. Fix yourself and set your mind of what you are supposed to complete the whole day.

Everyday you have to shower or sponge bath 5 of the residents that you are taking care of. Get them ready for the day. Once done, you need to clean the whole house, starting with the laundry every other day, then throwing out garbage, cleaning each room, (change bed covers, linens, pillow cases and comforter every 2 weeks), sweeping and mopping the floor. It is just like you are in a house, kind of different of what I have expected to be honest (the place where I am working at have the feels of being at home, it does not feel like a boarding care).

You'll have to feed them breakfast, lunch and dinner, oh by the way, all of us working at the facility are Filipino's so imagine how we talk to each other about every days work. It's fun and tiring at the same time. But it's a fulfillment, specially, when you have completed all your chores and you see that everyone is happy and satisfied, until end of day.

So, here I am loving my job even though I am looking forward to have a better life and would be able to land on what I am passionate of doing. Let's just hope for the best then.

Hello to a new place

Who would have thought that instinct is something that we can always count on. I have felt that I will be back to the place that everyone is looking forward to be part of, a dream land as they say. I thought that it'll happen by end of year through my hard worked savings just to visit the family who have loved me and took me as one of theirs. Little did I know that the universe is already cooking something big for me and unexpectedly, a good friend of mine contacted me and asked if I wanted to work as a caregiver for old people. It is a 360 degrees turn for me since I have been starting with my passion which is to be part of the fashion industry which I have been dreaming to achieve since I was still a young child. I realized that I have been afraid to take chances since I had no funds to sustain my dream and grabbing this opportunity is a very huge lift on my end.

I am hoping that I will be able to reach my goal by being here. Probably, I will not be in this industry since I can see a lot of opportunity that can be opened if only I take risk and I know I will. It is time to face challenges head on. I am far from home, far from my comfort zone and at the end of the day, I need to learn how to stand on my own if I really wanted to achieve my goal in life.

I am looking forward for a better tomorrow. That when the right time comes for me to go back home, I am able to live the life that I have been dreaming, maybe it's not going to be easy and I will be facing a lot of bumps along the way, but it's okay, I know that there is always a right time for everything. Random

I don't have a lot of readers, yes, but I am happy seeing some checking what I write and post. My apologies as I am not a good writer, I just do freestyle, I write what I think and express what I feel. I just need something where to put my feelings unto. I envy those people who could write and express what comes in their minds with perfect plot and story. I am actually trying but I guess it's not really for me.

Today, I just want things to be random.

I am not even sure what my Team Leader will do if he sees me doing something not work related, but I don't care. I just want to express what I feel right now.

So, my weekend went great even though I am still coping up with my new rest day schedule which is Friday and Saturday, advantage actually since I can go to any event which are mostly scheduled on a Friday and Saturday.

Friday, I watched Mister and Miss Holy Angel University, cheering for a friend and of course my crushes, was able to be proud hearing my name being acknowledge for providing assistance during their photo shoots. I kinda miss my life when I was still studying and handling this type of events. I'll admit, I was a bit disappointed with the flow of competition, still kudos to the organizers since they still made a lot of effort to make the pageant fabulous. In the end, even though me and my friend does not agree with one of the winners we still need to accept the result.

Saturday, I received the best gift ever. I am not sure what I did why I am receiving so much blessings this year, still I am so thankful. I guess that is because of how I treat people and how I project myself as a person. I can look tough on the first look and you have to dig deeper on order to know me well. It's just the first impression. Just like when you read a book, you do not just look at its cover but you have to read it thoroughly in order for you to know it more. Had family time after awhile, I missed my Yumi, I bet she's sad and cried since I haven't visited her for quiet awhile. It's not easy to have her at my own place since I always come home late and I leave early all the time. What's more fascinating was gate crashing the after party of Mr and Ms HAU candidates. It was actually fun though I do not have the guts to talk to them, I don't know where it went but I enjoyed the night. Gosh it's been a long time since I went our partying.

Oh well, as of right now, here I am, working and at the same time updating this blog, which happened to be my diary at the same time. And I am not sleepy since I went home at around 4pm and has to wake up at 9am since I need to cook my brunch and as well as for my dinner that I will be bringing to work. Single life is really fun and challenging at the same time. My life is getting fulfilled one by one and in time I know I will be able to achieve my goal, take it slowly but surely. Though taking risk is another option.

31

Age is just a number, what matters most are the experiences that you gain as you move forward with your life. As you age, you start a new chapter of your life, 365 pages to be exact. It is up to you how you want each chapter be different from each other. Either you meet new people, travel a lot, experience new adventure or learn new things. There are a lot of things that can be done, just make sure that you always capture and treasure those moments.

I never knew that I will grow up to be a person with strong personality, a person with confidence and very intimidating. And yet, deep inside I am really introvert, I always have felt insecure specially when I am with people who have college degree. I always feel that something is missing. Yes, I have the skills and talent, I am a good conversationalist and however, when it comes to education background I always feel down.

I dreamed of finishing my college and I wasn't able to, I lack skill in handling money. I started working at the age of 16 and yet up until now I still don't have a fix savings. I always at the present and hard earned money for me is being spent to pamper myself. I tried, several times but still I need to dig deeper. I need someone to motivate me to be more disciplined in handling my finances.

After 31 years, now I can say that I am living independently, I live on my own. I juggle my schedules from my day job and other commitments. I make sure that I still have time for myself and my family, it's been a long time since I bonded with them and I need to catch up. I already missed a lot and even though I laugh things out. I can still see my eyes sad and feeling incomplete.

Life is to short not to be happy! So I always choose happiness. I want to enjoy life to the fullest. I am 31 and it doesn't matter. I know I still have a long way to go.

Valentines

Whoever invented it, well what can I say?

I am not sure why it's special and why do even people spend for just a day. Was it even worthy?

I see flowers, balloons, stuff toys, cakes and chocolates, for what? You can give all of these even if it's not valentines.

What is so special about valentines? why was it even invented? for what? for whom?

Ohh, well this is just me and my random thought.

I am no expert with love, not even in a relationship. I had one, only one and yet I gave up on him. I felt tired when I am just asking for a day with me. Still, life has to go on. I dated and tried pursuing guys that I like but then we are better of as friends. I guess my valentines will always be me, myself and I.

What's yours?
